2012.04.24 Tuesday - to Sienna

We arrived in brilliant sunshine and found the hotel Rhea and Carl recommended - and yes it does have a lift - however, you forgot to mention the two sets of 15 steps each outside to get into the hotel!  Our travel guru Rick Steves describes Siena as a medieval stairmaster - what a perfect description.  It's a beautiful city, but NOTHING is flat!  After exploring the city for a couple hours, true to form, we not only had rain, but a hail storm!  After wading back to the hotel and changing clothes, the storm abated and we went out to la Torre for another great meal.

Llegamos a un sol brillante y encontró el Rea hotel y recomendado Carl - y sí, tiene un ascensor - sin embargo, usted se olvidó de mencionar los dos grupos de 15 pasos cada uno fuera a entrar en el hotel! Nuestro gurú de viajes Rick Steve describe como un stairmaster Siena medieval - lo que es una descripción perfecta. Es una ciudad hermosa, pero nada es plana! Después de explorar la ciudad por un par de horas, fiel a su estilo, no sólo había lluvia, pero una tormenta de granizo! Después de navegar de vuelta al hotel y cambiarse de ropa, la tormenta amainó y nos fuimos a la Torre de otra gran comida.
